We’re pleased to announce that we’ve been awarded a grant of £3,000 by the East of England Co-op’s Community Cares Fund!
The fund will pay for use of our DIY workshop with support from our trained mechanics, as well as paying for basic spare parts we stock.
This grant will fund free bike kitchen sessions and basic spares for
- Members of the refugee community
- People outside employment or jobseekers
- Food bank recipients
- Those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford to use Colchester Bike Kitchen
We hope it will help make a difference to people in Colchester facing financial hardship.
